Mhele, also known as Morabaraba or Twelve Men’s Morris, is a strategic board game built around placing pieces, forming mills, capturing opponents and controlling movement across a connected board.
Players take turns placing tokens on open nodes, trying to create strong formations and future threats.
A mill is made when three of your pieces align. Forming a mill lets you capture one opposing piece.
After placement, pieces move along board lines. Smart movement blocks threats and opens new mills.
Reduce your opponent’s pieces, limit their movement, or outplay them with timing, traps and board control.
Mhele combines the cultural depth of Morabaraba with modern mobile features: AI opponents, online multiplayer, Bluetooth multiplayer, local pass-and-play, achievements, leaderboards, daily challenges, village progression and unlockable boards and tokens.
Mhele is inspired by Morabaraba, also known in many places as Twelve Men’s Morris, with rules adapted for a modern Android game.
